oh loved one, by my side
beauty crowned with oceans' tide.
deluged deep, in drunken fate
how to find a valiant wait.
echo out, dripping dew
answer not fading blue.
fragrant billows, heavy air
naked beauty once was fair.
seeking now the favored eye
drawing in, and calling nigh.
summon high among the plain
wax and wane, his touch, her pain.

When I read your poem again I understand it more...it's so beautiful! I LOVE good poetry that has you coming back and finding more each time you happen upon it. It's like a really good meal on a hungry stomach.
